A special parade is held on this day. Early in the morning people begin to assemble at Raj Path and other places form Rajapath to Red Fort to watch the parade. There is a display of various arms, tanks, big guns and other weapons of war. Military bands play different tunes. N.C.C cadets and the police also participate in the parade.

Folk dances are held. The dancers sing and play on virus instruments. Boys and girls of local colleges and schools march in precision and sing national song.
There is a colorful fly-past be deferent types of aero panes. Rose petals are showered form the air and a tricolor of saffron, white and green, the colours of the national flag, is left behind. Balloons of these clouds float in the air.
At night all the government buildings are illuminated and the people move out to watch the beautiful sight.

I am very grateful to my class teacher for giving me such a great opportunity to recite a speech on republic day of India. My dear friends, we celebrate this national event every year to remember and pay respect to the Indian constitution. It is celebrated in all the schools and colleges by the students and teachers however also celebrated at government offices and other institutions of the states all over the country. A main celebration takes place in the national capital, New Delhi, at Rajpath, Indian Gate before to the President of India and chief guest from another country. A grand ceremonial parade is organized at the Rajpath in order to perform tribute to India.
